There was very valuable information learned today in class. Many things that I was fairly unaware of. For instance, I did not know that there were specific search engines designed for children. I will definitely make use of these, not only in the classroom but in my own home as well. Another item was not up to snuff on was all the different versions of online file storage. I have already taken advantage this type of technology and signed myself up for free storage at www.dropbox.com. It is almost overwhelming with all the different choices available (Google, Dropbox, iCloud, etc.) when looking for online storage options. I suppose a person just has to use trial and error with the different options and choose the one that suits their personal needs best.

I totally agree. I signed up for dropbox within the week to help backup all of my education files. Such great resources were presented to us that class! And it really is trial and error. For the longest time I thought USB sticks were the way to go but now there are much easier and cheaper ways to store stuff.
